The room was huge and clean. The kaiseki dinner was delicious, served right in our own space. I loved soaking in the open-air bath while enjoying views of the surrounding mountains and the serene vibes of the onsen facilities. On a minor note, it was a bit noisy at times, but it didn’t really bother us and we’d definitely come back! 😊

This place was just an appropriate option for a temporary stay in Kyoto with good price-quality ratio. The room was very large, and the balcony offered a great view of the garden. Bring your own snacks since there’s not much to eat after 6pm.

Perfect retreat for couples
I can’t go back to the states now to match these expectations! The level of service was insane, the staff paid attention to every little detail. We booked a room with a private bath and they surprised us by already having it filled with warm water when we arrived. It felt like we were the only guests in the world.
Wasn't cheap but worth every penny.

The attentive service stood out, with staff ensuring our needs were met, including thoughtful meal adjustments for special dietary requirements. The private onsen experience was pleasant, though initially, I was concerned about visibility from passersby. however, the provision of curtains alleviated that worry. Both the dinner and breakfast were exquisitely prepared, featuring delightful salads that complemented our meals wonderfully.
